What is MapIT

MapIT! is a web application designed for viewing information about property located in Douglas County.

Retrieved information can be as simple as owner information for an address, or as complex as evaluating information for Planned Development in new neighborhoods.

Locating information in the MapIt! application is accomplished by searching, using various themes and search categories, or by selecting an area on a map of Douglas County.

In addition to displaying and searching parcel information, MAP IT! includes many of the layers available in the GIS library, such as tax districts, aerial imagery and contours.  Many new features are available within the application including:

• Create custom maps
• Export a map to PDF
• Export reports to PDF or excel file
• Add custom graphics and text to your map
• Display of data based on ‘themes’
• Multiple selection modes (attribute, point, rectangle, custom polygon)
• Buffer features
